Santa Claus, Fairy tales and Mulled Wine Parties

The overall vibe of a Christmas market with culinary arts, funfair rides and stage shows for young and old – this is what you can expect at Neuer Markt! Santa Claus and his fellows welcome the young ones with a varied program on the stage ‘Märchenschloss’ every day from Tuesday to Friday, and the Christmas story is performed there on weekends.

The older ones can enjoy a variety of live music acts while having a mulled wine party every Friday and Saturday evening. On the popular mulled wine parties, musicians mainly from Rostock enter the stage on Neuer Markt. They put everybody in a good and cheerful mood with their live music. You may venture onto the dance floor! The Ferris wheel with its height of 40 metres rises above all as a special attraction, offering an impressive view over the Christmas market and the beautiful historic city of Rostock.
