Several times a day there are ferries docking in the Rostock Overseas Port coming from Denmark and Sweden.
 
Arriving by car, you drive along the A20 motorway or the A19 directly into Rostock. You can park in complete relaxation in one of the sign-posted P + R car parks on the outskirts of the city and public transport will take you directly to the very core of the Christmas Market.
 
If you come by train you travel directly to the Main Station in Rostock, then 3 stations on the tramway and you'll find yourself directly in the Christmas Market.
